The nice thing about starting out the next few weeks with alternating days of CardioX and X Stretch, is that this will help with your endurance and flexibility. This will also help to prevent injuries down the road.
After not working out in almost 20 years, this first day was an eye opener. Athletically, I do golf and occasionally downhill ski but haven't done a intense cardio exercise since I did Tang Soo Do under Grandmaster Jae Joon Kim (at his studio in Old Redford in the 80's).
Surprisingly many of the Kempo exercises brought back memories of my training. The first 30 minutes were good, but then after the first round of Heisman pose, roundhouse kicks over the chair and basketball shots I crashed and had to pause the video. I had to switch from my coffee table standing on end ( so I can do my workout in front of the TV) to a small trash can. It was more from the stiffness of my hips than the burn in my thighs that caused me to stop.
So much for Day 1! Just remember to push yourself hard, but not so hard as to chance injuring yourself
